Recently, Claudio La Camera, a renowned investigative journalist, conducted an informative and interactive workshop on ‘Ndrangheta Stereotypes and Reality. Participants of the workshop learnt about the ‘Ndrangheta, a criminal organization originating in Calabria, Italy, and the truths and misconceptions surrounding the group.

In light of this, La Camera offered a platform for Gesualdo Barletta, the creator of ‘Etnocinema’, a project which uses film-making to change attitudes and promote social transformation in Calabria. Barletta presented his project to the participants of the workshop, providing an inspiring example of how positive initiatives can have a real impact on the ground.
