Fans expressed their shock recently when Marvel Studios announced that Jonathan Majors would not portray Kang The Conqueror anymore in future Marvel projects. The news sent tremors down the fandom as the character had established himself as the next big bad wolf of the MCU after the end of the Infinity Saga. Majors’ departure from MCU has left a void as either the studio might have to change the entire storyline of upcoming projects or they’ll have to cast someone else for the role. However, a WWE former United States Champion believes that he could prove a wise choice for the role.

This WWE star wants to replace Jonathan Majors

When Wrestling News posted a question asking fans who amongst the WWE roster would be a great fit for Kang the Conqueror, The MVP of WWE, Montel Vontavious Porter, or MVP, threw his name into the hat. He replied to the post by re-tweeting a picture of himself. Porter even wrote, “No problem…” implying that he is more than ready for the role.

The Founder of The Hurt Business has been a prominent name in WWE. The star made his debut back in 2006 and captured the United States Championship title. Even though he was still a newcomer, he held onto the title for a total of 343 days. However, after such a successful run, he departed from WWE in 2010 to try his hand at indie circuits.

He returned in 2020 to compete at the Royal Rumble. Following this, he assembled the heel stable, which consisted of Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin. Along with competing in the ring, he has managed the stars of The Hurt Business. With MVP by his side, Lashley was able to defeat The Miz and become the WWE Champion. Since the stable disbanded, he has allied with Omos.

In the comics, Kang the Conqueror was a time traveler from the 31st century. As his name suggests, he conquered multiple realities, before becoming the sole ruler across the multiverse. He is a descendant of another Marvel character Reed Richards (Mr Fantastic) from another reality. He has gained notoriety as an enemy of the Fantastic Four and the Avengers.

In the recent court hearings, Jonathan Majors was found guilty of various allegations that were made against him.
