For decades, music festivals have been a hub for artists to showcase their talents and connect with their fans. Among the many artists that have graced these stages, three names stand out – Alison Wonderland, Cloonee, and Tiësto. These three artists have been in the music industry for decades and have established themselves as pioneers in their respective genres. Despite their long and successful careers, they continue to push boundaries and create new experiences for their fans at festivals. In a recent interview, they shared their thoughts on their most memorable sets and how they continue to evolve and stay relevant in the ever-changing music scene.

Alison Wonderland, an Australian DJ and producer, has been making waves in the electronic dance music (EDM) scene since her debut in 2009. With hits like “I Want U” and “Run,” she has become a household name in the EDM world. When asked about her most memorable festival set, she recalls her performance at Coachella in 2019.

“It was my first time performing at Coachella, and the energy from the crowd was indescribable. I remember looking out at the sea of people and feeling overwhelmed with emotion. It was a surreal moment for me, and I will never forget it,” says Alison.

Despite being in the industry for over a decade, Alison continues to surprise her fans with new and innovative performances. She credits this to her constant drive to evolve and try new things.

“I never want to become stagnant or predictable in my performances. That’s why I’m always experimenting with new sounds and visuals. It keeps me excited and challenges me to be better,” she shares.

Cloonee, a rising star in the tech-house scene, has been making a name for himself with his infectious beats and energetic performances. His most memorable festival set was at Tomorrowland in 2019.

“Playing at Tomorrowland was a dream come true for me. The energy and vibe of the festival were unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The crowd was so responsive, and it was a surreal feeling to see them dancing and singing along to my music,” says Cloonee.

As a relatively new artist, Cloonee’s rise to fame has been rapid. However, he remains humble and credits his success to his passion for music and his fans.

“I am grateful for every opportunity I get to perform at festivals and connect with my fans. They are the reason I do what I do, and I will always be grateful for their support,” he adds.

Tiësto, a legend in the EDM world, needs no introduction. With a career spanning over three decades, he has cemented his place as one of the most influential DJs and producers in the world. When asked about his most memorable festival set, he recalls his performance at Ultra Music Festival in 2014.

“Ultra Music Festival is always special for me, but 2014 was a particularly memorable year. It was the 15th anniversary of the festival, and I was given the honor of closing the main stage. The energy from the crowd was electrifying, and it was a moment I will never forget,” says Tiësto.

Despite being in the industry for so long, Tiësto continues to push boundaries and experiment with new sounds. He believes that staying relevant in the ever-changing music scene is all about adapting and evolving.

“You have to be open to change and embrace new trends. I am constantly listening to new music and collaborating with artists from different genres. It keeps my music fresh and exciting,” he shares.

As these three artists continue to dominate the festival scene, they serve as an inspiration to aspiring musicians. Their passion, dedication, and constant drive to evolve are what sets them apart and keeps them at the top of their game. They are a testament to the fact that no matter how long you’ve been in the industry, there is always room for growth and new experiences. So, as we look forward to the next music festival, let us remember the words of Alison Wonderland, Cloonee, and Tiësto – “never stop evolving, and always strive to create new and unforgettable experiences for your fans.”
