Hong Ru MFin ’10, PhD ’15 Returns to MIT Sloan to Teach the Next Generation of Master of Finance Students
MIT Sloan School of Management is proud to announce the return of Hong Ru MFin ’10, PhD ’15 to its faculty. Ru will be teaching the next generation of master of finance students, and his expertise and experience will be invaluable to the program.
Ru graduated from MIT Sloan in 2010 with a Master of Finance degree and then returned in 2015 to complete his PhD in finance. During his time at MIT Sloan, Ru was an active member of the student body, participating in several student organizations and clubs. He was also a teaching assistant for several finance courses, which gave him the opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience.
After completing his PhD, Ru went on to work in the finance industry, where he gained extensive experience in the field. He worked at several large financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase, where he held various positions in the areas of investment banking, asset management, and risk management.
Ru’s experience in the finance industry has given him a unique perspective on the field, which he will be able to share with his students. He is passionate about teaching and helping students understand the complexities of finance and the markets. He is also committed to helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in the finance industry.
